Jinan International Trade Promotion Conference, October 30, 2025, 11:32, Shandong

On October 29th, the first member congress and founding conference of the Jinan International Chamber of Commerce was held in Jinan. Dang Hong, Deputy secretary of the Party Committee of the China Chamber of International Commerce, Meng Xiangdong, secretary of the Party group and president of the Shandong Provincial Council for the Promotion of International Trade, and Zhang Yongqiang, member of the Standing Committee of the Jinan Municipal Committee of the Communist Party of China and Ministerof United Front Work, attended the conference and delivered speeches. Wang Bozhi, vice chairperson of the Jinan Municipal Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, also attended the meeting. The conference was presided over by Qi Huaidong, the Party Secretary and President of the Jinan Council for the Promotion of International Trade. The conference deliberated and adopted the "Charter of Jinan International Chamber of Commerce", the "Election Rules of the First Member Congress of Jinan International Chamber of Commerce", etc., elected the first president, vice presidents, directors and supervisors, and presented plaques to the vice president units, supervisors and director units.

As an important carrier for the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT) to fulfill its duties and responsibilities, the China Chamber of International Commerce serves as a "bridge" for communication between enterprises and the government, a "bond" for exchanges between Chinese and foreign enterprises, and an important "channel" for enterprises to expand into international markets.

The Jinan International Chamber of Commerce should adhere to the principle of "serving as the foundation" and build a "bridge of hearts" connecting the government and enterprises. We should not only assist local enterprises in going global at a high level, but also guide high-quality resources to be brought in at a high quality, making good use of both markets and resources. Strengthen its own construction and build a first-class chamber of commerce organization that is trusted by the government and members.

The event was attended by relevant officials from the Jinan Area of the China (Jinan) Pilot Free Trade Zone, the Municipal Civil Affairs Bureau, the Municipal Bureau of Administrative Approval and Services, 7 initiating units, 12 district and county-level chambers of commerce for the Promotion of International Trade, and over 300 member units. The establishment of the Jinan International Chamber of Commerce marks a solid step forward for Jinan in expanding high-level opening up to the outside world and deepening international economic and trade cooperation. In the future, under the strong leadership of the municipal committee and the municipal government, and with the guidance of the National and provincial China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (International Chamber of Commerce), the Jinan International Chamber of Commerce will leverage its unique advantages of "connecting government and enterprises, integrating domestic and foreign markets, and unblocking supply and demand", and inject new impetus into building a "strong, new, excellent, prosperous, beautiful and high-quality" socialist modern strong provincial capital in the new era.
