11 precautions for the use of hydraulic pumps,(1)Precautions for hydraulic pump connection,The hydraulic pump can be installed with a support or a flange.The hydraulic pump and the prime mover output shaft should be connected by an elastic coupling.The oil suction pipe should be as short as possible, straight, large, and thick. The oil suction pipe generally needs to be equipped with a coarse filter with a nominal flow rate not less than twice the pump flow rate (the filtration accuracy is generally 80-180μm). The oil inlet and outlet of the hydraulic pump should be installed firmly, and the sealing device should be reliable.The self-priming height of the hydraulic pump does not exceed 500mm (or the imported vacuum does not exceed 0.03MPa).

Stationary marine applications are only half of the equation when it pertains to the effectiveness of stainless steel. Shipbuilders use stainless actuators in locations most prone to corrosion, such as trim actuators, steering components or life craft hoists. An onshore crane failure will just be annoying and time-consuming to repair, but the failure of a steering cylinder could be deadly, so all precautions must be taken to encourage reliability. Stainless actuators are often the best answer.

And the total system efficiency (without including the pressure drop in the hydraulic pipes and valves) will end up at approximately 0.75.Calculate the required pump displacement from the required maximum sum of flow for the consumers in the worst case scenario and the diesel engine rpm at this point. The maximum flow can differ from the flow used for calculation of the diesel engine power.
